RECORD SHACK was a small record shop based in Soho, London and they provided DJ's with all the latest funk & soul imports. After hooking up with DJ and record producer, Ian Levine, they had a successful run of HI-NRG disco hits that topped club charts all over the worls, and often crossed over into the mainstream pop charts! The labels biggest hits included "HIGH ENERGY" by Evelyn Thomas (7 million sales worldwide) & "SO MANY MEN SO LITTLE TIME" by Miquel Brown (2 million sales)
They also scored big international dance hits with "Skiing in the snow" by Laura Pallas, "Fan the Flame" by Barbara Pennington, "Primitive Desire" by Eastbound Expressway & "Love's Gone Mad" by Seventh Avenue. Other artists who recorded for Record Shack include Marsha Raven, Earlene Bentley & Sadie Nine.
