Marc Almond was born in 1957 in Southport (then Lancashire, now part of Merseyside) in England.

He initially shot to fame in the early 1980s as one half of the synth duo Soft Cell, whose hits included "Tainted Love" (UK #1), "Bedsitter" (UK #4), "Say Hello, Wave Goodbye" (UK #3), "Torch" (UK #2), "What!" (UK #3), "Soul Inside" (UK #16), and the club hit "Memorabilia".

Princess Julia (born Julia Fodor, 1960) is a British DJ and music writer. She first came to notice in the very early 1980s as part of the short-lived Blitz Kids club scene with the likes of Marc Almond and Boy George.

She achieved mild success and clubland infamy after her appearance in the video for 'Fade to Grey', the hit UK single from Steve Strange's band Visage.

After a stint as a fashion model in the early to mid 1980s, both in London and Tokyo, she started to build a successful career as a club DJ. She was a resident DJ at the legendary Kinky Gerlinky clubnights.

In 2005, pop star Kylie Minogue and her stylist William Baker chose Princess Julia to be part of the stage video for Kylie's successful Showgirl - The Greatest Hits world tour. Julia recreated her Visage video appearance especially for Kylie's live show, "A club section features graphics inspired by i-D magazine, a special film of club legend Princess Julia inspired by the Visage video for "Fade To Grey", and clothes inspired by Katharine Hamnett's iconic slogan t-shirts of the '80's".

After Kylie Minogue's return from illness in 2006, the same video footage was used during Kylie's second Showgirl tour of 2006/2007. Julia's friendship with Kylie continued in 2007, as the two were seen partying together at London's fashionable Boombox club night, as reported on Kylie.com, "Kylie took the role of DJ with her friends William Baker and Princess Julia on Sunday night at Boombox, an established club with a cult following. "

In 2006, other musical collaborations included ex-Shakespear's Sister/Bananarama singer Siobhan Fahey on two songs 'Bad Blood' and 'Pulsatron' which Julia remixed as well as No Bra's underground hit song Munchausen and Readers Wifes' single Nostalgia. She has also collaborated with dance acts such as Punx Souncheck, Larry Tee, Kinky Roland and Riton.

She co-published music paper/fanzine The P.i.X and regularly contributes to fashion website KCTV.co.uk as well being music editor for i-D magazine. She writes a weekly column Revoltage and Reportage for cult publication QX, reviewing clubs and writing interviews on bands and various musical projects.

She continues to DJ, write and currently performs spoken word vocals in improvised, noise band Oral Oral.

Glenn Gregory (born Glenn Peter Gregory 16 May 1958, Sheffield, England) is an English musician. A founding member of Heaven 17, he was partly responsible for hit records such as "Temptation".

Gregory had known the founding members of The Human League for many years. He had been singing and playing bass in bands with Ian Craig Marsh since 1973. In early 1981 he was contacted by Martyn Ware after the original membership of The Human League split, and was asked to join
Heaven 17.

He married the singer Sarah Osbourn of the Belgian group, Allez Allez.
In 1984 Gregory sang on the Band Aid single, "Do They Know It's Christmas", singing the line "No rain nor rivers flow".

Outside of Heaven 17, Gregory has been a member of the bands Ugly and Honeyroot, as well as working with Tina Turner, Grace Jones, Propaganda, Terence Trent D'Arby, Ultravox, La Roux and John Lydon.

"I Want That Man" is a single released in 1989 by Deborah Harry - her first solo single to be released using her Christian name Deborah instead of 'Debbie'.

The track was written and produced by former Thompson Twins members, Alannah Currie and Tom Bailey. It was one of the most successful singles released during Harry's solo career, peaking at number two in Australia, number 13 in the United Kingdom, and number two on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart in the United States.

The video was directed by Mary Lambert.

The song is a combination of late eighties pop music fused with light rock. The campy style of the single pushed it to become one of Harry's most prolific releases. Although it wasn't a global hit, in the U.S. it managed to find success on radio stations, particularly college radio.

The 7" single charted at #11 in the UK, #3 in South Africa, #21 in Germany, #13 in Australia and also charted on the US Billboard Hot 100. Like "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" the song was re-recorded in 2003 for the band's retrospective compilation Evolution: The Hits.
