CHORUS:
Well there's a fire in my heart tonight
Oh there's a fire in my heart tonight
I wanna see you alright
Well there's a fire in my heart tonight
I can feel that it's right
Oh there's a fire.... in my heart
Well there's a fire.... in my heart

It's gotta be it tonight
Well there's a fire in my....
Heart
VERSE 1:
All my friends warned me about you
They told me so
They told me so
They heard a rumour spread about you
They told me so
They told me so
My mama said remember one thing
They told you so
They told you so
I don't care how much I hear it
They told you so
They told you so
CHORUS:
VERSE 2:
They say I'm walkin' such a fine line
They told me so
They told me so
He'll take your heart
and you'll lose your own life
They told me so
They told me so
VERSE 3:
He'll come between common sense and emotion
They told me so
They told me so
I'm not arrayed on love's a notion
They told me so
They told me so
