2 Unlimited is a dance project founded in 1991 by two Belgian producers Jean-Paul DeCoster and Phil Wilde and fronted by Dutch rapper Ray Slijngaard and Dutch vocalist Anita Doth.

 During five years of enormous worldwide popularity, the act scored 16 chart hits, including "Get Ready for This", "Twilight Zone", "No Limit" and "Tribal Dance".

During their career, they have sold 18 million records worldwide.

 Although they enjoyed less mainstream notoriety in the United States, many of their songs have become popular themes of US sporting events, particularly the NHL.

'Pump Up The Jam - The Album' was recorded in three weeks at The Haunted House II, Aalst and Swanyard Studio's in London. The completed album was then immediatly flown over to New York on a Concorde by a SBK employee. The album had already five top-20 hits in the UK

(not to mention the rest of Europe).

 

The Technotronic sound was fresh and revolutionary at the time, and would be a worldwide success, leading to the start of EURODANCE music in the 90s
