Shirley Ross - If You Leave Me Now (12'' Maxi) 1983 italo disco classic VERY RARE!

The amazingly beautiful and rare 1983 electronic italo disco 12'' by Shirley Ross (aka Valerie Dore/Dora Carofiglio) singing 'If You Leave Me Now'.
Shirley Ross (aka Dora Carofiglio) was the lead singer of Novecento, and also well known as a solo project Valerie Dore. Most (or all) 12" were produced by Pino, Ross and Lino Nicolosi. Arguably, Dora Carofiglio is the best vocal in Italo Disco. In the early 90's, Dora Carofiglio married one of the Nicolosi siblings & took on their name becoming Dora Nicolosi.
Retro Disco Hi-NRG thoughts... "a very rare and well produced record which was famously played as the final closing song each night at THE RIVIERA! (a popular gay disco in Durban, South Africa in the late 80's/early 90's....) A beautiful record which i searched 20+ years to find" :)

Mr. Zivago - Little Russian (12'' Maxi) 1987 italo disco classic

"Looking back, You can remember how the time has gone...
The empty mirror when you're left alone...
The night is gonna be keeping, Something in your mind....
Looking up, The sky is gonna be so dark tonight...
The wind is blowing right into your eyes...
Until you see tomorrow, Live just for a night"
-
"Little Russian, you're looking for love tonight
Little Russian, dancing a longer night
Little Russian, you're jumping again tonight
Little Russian, dreaming a longer night
Little Russian, lover again tonight
Little Russian, taking a longer night
Little Russian, just to be free and wild
Little Russian, living a longer night"
-
"Looking down, The light is shining up into your eyes,
And now there's music coming through the night,
Until you see tomorrow, Play just for tonight...
Looking back, Remember how you worried only once,
And now you know the lonely days are gone
And you can see tomorrow, Living for tonight!"

The Flirts - Greatest Hits (Album) Hi-Nrg 80's

The Flirts were a female trio from New York City, created and masterminded by American Hi-NRG producer, Bobby Orlando aka 'Bobby O', an artist in his own right.
The trio - initially Andrea, Holly and Rebecca - are best known for quirky and/or sensual New Wave, Hi-NRG and Dance-pop tunes, one of which was their 1982 hit "Jukebox (Don't Put Another Dime)" from their debut album 10¢ a Dance.
Their biggest worldwide hit was the massive 1982 single"PASSION", which is still a Hi-NRG Dance Classic favourite today, nearly 30 years after it's original release! Other hits singles include
"HELPLESS (You Took My Love)"; "DANGER!"; and the mega sexy
"CALLING ALL BOYS"

MarcAlex - The Very Best Of (Album) 1990 PWL South African Pop Dance Funk

South African pop twins, MarcAlex (Marc and Alex Rantselli), burst on to the late 80's pop scene with a dynamic live act and some slickly-produced and hooky songs and albums.
'Quick Quick' is still their finest moment and sounds as fresh today as when first released. That song appeared on their debut album, 'Marcalex'; their second, 'Boys B Boys', also earned a prestigious Stock Aitken and Waterman (PWL) remix. The boys also had a hit with 'Heartbreakin' Love' in the early 90's.

The Helicopters - The Best Of (Album) 80's electro pop

The Helicopters were a South African pop rock band active in the 1980s.
They formed in 1981 in Vereeniging and were stylistically similar to the New Wave bands Duran Duran and A Flock of Seagulls. Benjy Mudie signed the group to Warner Bros. Records in 1984, where they released one album and several singles; in 1987 they moved to Epic and released a second full-length before disbanding.
The band scored several hit singles in South Africa, including "Mysteries and Jealousy"; "Whisper Your Secret"; and "Western Skies". The group was a popular concert draw, able to fill stadiums in its home country.
After the band's breakup, lead singer Bernard Binns moved to England, where he has released several solo albums
