"Proud Mary" is a rock song written by American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist John Fogerty, and recorded by his band Creedence Clearwater Revival. The song was released by Fantasy Records as a single from the band's second studio album, Bayou Country, which was released by the same record company in January 1969. The single is generally considered to have been released in early January 1969 although at least one source states that it came out just before Christmas 1968. The song became a hit in the United States, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 1969, the first of five non-consecutive singles to peak at #2 for the group.

Earlene Bentley is a Soul, Pop, Hi-NRG and Dance singer who is best known for such Hi-NRG 80s hit songs as “Stop That Man”, “Stargazing”, “Caught In The Act”, “I’m Living My Life”

and “The Boys Come To Town.”

 

Earlene contributed her vocal talents to productions by Almighty Records, such as the storming hits ” YMCA” & “Baby Don’t Cha leave me this way” under the name “Royal T”. Earlene is an accomplished singer and actress who has appeared in numerous West End shows and Hollywood films.  She appeared as a nurse at Arkham Asylum in the 2005 film Batman Begins.

Café Society, a mostly studio band, were one of the most successful white South African acts of the mid-80's. The band, featuring Julia Jade Aston of the defunct Working Girls, is the brainwave of multi-instrumentalist singer and producer Costa Anadiotis, formerly of Fantasy, once one of Johannesburg's foremost club dance rock bands.

Massive Hit in South Africa back in 1987, when it climbed all the way up to No. 6 on the local pop charts. Also by all Pocket Lips was a studio project made up of producers/musicians Ian Osrin (actually a highly respected South African recording engineer and record producer with an extensive list of legit credits), Zack Haynes and Sam Wingate, plus a vocalist named Keith Berel who had previously fronted a popular Johannesburg band called Flash Harry. 

These talented music producers produced this record in spare time when the studio was not busy. 

“It’s Amazing (The Incredible Dance)” went on to become a TOP 10 HIT.
